MPOS may display an error that says "No active hardware station is available". This happens very rarely but will stop a transaction completely if not addressed. A simple 3 step process will activate the hardware station and get you back on track.
1. Login to mPOS and swipe the screen all the way to the left and tap on "Select hardware station".
2. Swipe the line ‘ipc://localhost’ to highlight the line. At the bottom of the screen, select "Set as active".
- "Active" will change from 'No' to 'Yes'.
3. Continue with processing a sale or the process store was following before they ran into the error.
That's it! Press the Home or Bag icon to return to the transaction and try again.
